Allison Hayn

Director of Dancefx Concert Dance Company, FX2 and FX3 Dance Companies

After four years working at world renouned Broadway Dance Center in New York City and The PULSE on Tour featuring SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE celebrity choreographers, Hayn takes over as Executive Director of Dancefx Athens in August of 2009.

Atlanta native Hayn has taught for Broadway Dance Center's (BDC) Children and Teen Program in New York City, currently serves as Producer of The PULSE On Tour, and Retail Director and Merchandiser for BDC in addition to appearing in and choreographing photo shoots for Capezio and Frontline Dancewear and working as a freelance instructor, dancer and choreographer throughout New York City and Atlanta. Working closely with Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Wade Robson, Cris Judd, Tyce Diorio, Desmond Richardson, Gil Duldulao, Brooke Lipton, Robert Hoffman, Shane Sparks and Laurie Ann Gibson, Hayn brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, cutting-edge innovation and opportunity to the Athens dance community and Dancefx family.

Before moving to New York, Allison spent five years with Dancefx, as a dancer, instructor and choreographer in addition to serving as Assistant Director of Dancefx, Inc. Hayn was instrumental in the opening of Dancestyle Dancewear and establishing the Dancefx Studio Youth Program. As a Dancefx Concert Dance Company Member, she's performed at the Jazz Dance World Congress in 2002 and 2004, Jazz on Tap (2001-2004), DanceAthens Dance Festival (2000-2004) and Dancefx's FX Spring Concert (2001-2005). With over 25 years dance experience, Hayn has studied with Luigi in New York City and the Jump Rhythm Jazz Project in Chicago in addition to her work in New York City. Kaitlin Reinhardt




Director Of Dancefx Apprentice Concert Dance Company and XCEL

Kaitlin grew up in Nashville, TN and began dancing at the age of 5. As member of the Green Hills School of Dance company, she received extensive training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Pointe and competed nationally for 9 years.

Kaitlin is extremely involved in the Athens community and has worked and choreographed for a number of local events such as Dancing With the Athens Stars, Athens Regional Medical Center's Pink Glove Video, and Athfest.

Kaitlin began working at Dancefx right after graduating from UGA. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on human anatomy and physiology. Kaitlin is the director of Dancefx's Youth Program and Apprentice Company, and she co-directs Dancefx's Concert Dance Company. 


Grace Bagwell Adams

Director of Modern Pin-Ups and Dancefx's Tap Company

Grace Bagwell is the founding director of the Modern
Pin-Ups and the Dancefx Tap Company.  She has been with the Dancefx Athens family since 2008, and enjoys teaching tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop.  Grace is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina where she received her training.  An alumna of Converse College, she is a proud supporter of empowering women through creative energy, dance, and performance.  Grace believes in continuing education, annually attending dance class and workshops such as the Pulse NYC.  She also contributes her talents to community engagement with organizations such as Project Safe's Dancing With the Athens Stars event and Stomp Out Domestic Violence.

I have been with the Dancefx family since I was four years old! This studio has definitely become my second home and more importantly given me my dance family.

I have been training for over 16 years at Dancefx. I have been apart of SoundFX company, FX companies, XCEL competition team, Sweet Dreams Company, as well as taking regular classes. I study at the University of Georgia at Grady College of journalism as a public relations major as well as a dance minor. This has increased my focus into teaching. I have been teaching over 5 years now and absolutely love my babies! Such an awesome experience to be a part of, teaching these students and watching them grow in their passion of dance! 



Amanda Brown

Amanda Brown

Amanda Brown first began dancing at nine years old when she moved to Athens in 2005. She joined DanceFX and began her training in ballet, ballet en pointe, tap, jazz, and contemporary. She participated in the youth dance companies at Dancefx, including FX3, FX2, and FX1, and when she was a senior in high school, she participated in the Adult Apprentice Company. Amanda has always loved working with children, so when she was in high school, she began teaching youth dance classes. Her strongest interest has always been ballet, which led her to forming the Youth Ballet Company at Dancefx in the Spring of 2016. Currently, Amanda is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Spanish at UGA. She is a principal member of the UGA Ballroom Performance Group, directed by Natalie Cox and Michael Fulford, and she also participates in the UGA Tango Club, lead by Fuad Elhage. Amanda has been with Dancefx for 12 years.

Ashley Clark

Ashley is from northern Georgia and has not been able to stop dancing since she first began at 3 years old. She danced at Steps Dance Center for 15 years and was a company member as well as competition dancer since the age of 6. Throughout her years of dancing she has been fortunate enough to have attended master classes and has been trained in the following styles of dance: ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, rhythmic tapping and musical theatre. Ashley started working at Dancefx her freshmen year and absolutely loves dancing and being able to share her passion with her students. 




Brittany Couch

Brittany Couch



Brittany grew up in southern Georgia and began dancing at the age of 4 at her hometown studio Regina's School of Dance. She has trained in Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Pointe and Jazz. She competed with the Southern Dazzle Dance Company for several years before moving to Warner Robins, GA. There she discovered musical theatre and began participating in high school and community shows in any way possible, including choreographing.

Brittany found Dancefx her freshman year through The Red Hotz, The University of Georgia's only competitive dance team. Since then, she has continued her training here at Dancefx Athens as a veteran member of the Dancefx Concert Dance Company while pursuing her degree in Mass Media Arts and a certificate in Music Business.


Natalie Cox



Ballroom and Latin Dance

Director of Ballroom Dance and Contact Dance Company, Dancefx

Natalie Cox is the Director of Contact Dance Company at Dancefx, is Artistic Director of UGA's Ballroom Performance group (BPG), teaches The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, and performs and teaches at various other venues around Northeast Georgia. Most recently, she was a judge for Project Safe's Dancing With Athens Stars, and her accolades include 2009 and 2010 awards from DWAS where she partnered with 5 and 10 chef Hugh Acheson- check it out! Natalie received her A.B. from the University of Georgia in 2003 and her J.D. from the University of Georgia in 2006. While at UGA, she was a member of the UGA's BPG from 2002-2006 and served as president her last year. Notable annual performances include DanceAthens, the Dancefx Spring Concert at the Morton Theatre in Athens, Georgia, and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.

Continual training is very important to Natalie; she annually attends dance camps such as the Adult Ballroom Camp at Brigham Young University and the Independence Day Ball Camp in Washington, D.C. During her travels, she has had the great fortune of taking lessons from ballroom greats such as Ron Montez, Jean Marc Genereux & France Mousseau, Pierre Allaire & Mireille Veilleux, Karina Smirnoff, and Tomas Mielnicki & J.T. Erika Douglas Greene



Beginning Adult Ballet, Pointe

Erika grew up dancing in at the Athens School of Ballet and performed with the Athens Ballet Theatre for over 20 years. She studied under Janet Robertson and Marianne Hale. She also participated in workshops with Ron Colton and Joan Buttram. She not only danced with the Athens Ballet Theatre but served as Assistant Artistic Director and Stage Manager. Today, Erika is a full time special education teacher, and a mother of two little boys. She continues to stay involved in the dance community by teaching ballet and stage managing. Come join her adult ballet class- a class perfect for those who have stepped away from ballet and want to return and a great opportunity for those who want to give ballet a try.


Chelsea Johnson

Pre-K, Elementary Combo, Soundfx


Chelsea set her feet on the stage at age 2 and never stopped performing. She has been trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, clogging and tap. She received most of her training from Fara Fox Tyree School of Dance before spending three years at Dancer's Pointe under the direction of Danielle Bridgewater. She has performed in several productions of the Nutcracker, The Snow Maiden, Sleeping Beauty, Firebird and An American in Paris. She was a company member of the Winchester Dance Ensemble where she performed in various community festivals, parades, shows and competitions. She trained with the Louisville Ballet Company and the Lexington Ballet Company in Kentucky. She also has training in musical theater and has been a featured dancer in musicals such as Wicked, Chicago, High School Musical and A Chorus Line. Chelsea currently is a fourth year at the University of Georgia studying Health Education. She also is the Vice President of UGA's tap team, the TapDawgs, and the Dance Coordinator for Mission:Athens with Beech Haven Baptist Church.


Tucker King


Leaps and Turns, Jazz, Jazz Funk

Tucker King is from Williamsburg, Va. where he spent 8 years on a competition dance team traveling to over 50 competitions in that time. He has won multiple special judges awards/titles for his choreography and for his performances over those years. 

In 2016 Tucker was hired to dance with former Miss Ga at the Miss Ga pageant in Colombus, Ga. 

Tucker has been strongly influenced by West Coast style choreography. Street Jazz or Jazz Funk with some Hip Hop and Contemporary are all elements that can be found in his work. Always high energy with his pieces. 



Janet Robertson


Intermediate/Advanced Ballet

Janet Robertson has been teaching with Dancefx since its inception, and has been an faculty member at the University of Georiga Dance Department since 1985, primarily basing her teaching methods and philosophy on the years she spent working with Stanley Zompakos, former member of NYCB. Her training was further enhanced, having been coached for performances by Anna Sokolow and Ernestine Stodelle.

Robertson shares her many talents with the Athens community as a guest teacher and choreographer and for the East Athens Educational Dance Center; as guest choreographer for the UGA Ballet Ensemble; in collaboration with Peggy Thrasher; and as an actress and set decorator with the Town & Gown Players. She recently finished a series of 20 videos for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government's research project on mediation and conflict resolution under Peggy Herrman and Jerry Gale. Robertson was given the Dance Athens 2004 Award for Excellence by the Athens dance community. Robertson holds an A.F.A. in Dance from Sullins College, where she trained under Valentina Belova, a B.A. in Art and an M.A.T., both from Lynchburg College in Virginia. She recently served on the dance panel of the Georgia Council for the Arts.



Brittney Seabolt

Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Breakdance, Elementary Combo, Pre-K

Brittney took her first ballet class at the age of six. She immediately joined the competition company, where, over time, she expanded her training from one style of dance to a multitude of styles. Fourteen years and four studios later, Brittney's training has grown to include ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, breakdance, and musical theater. Brittney joined the Dancefx family, in 2011, as an FX company member where she quickly discovered her passion for choreography. She soon began choreographing her own competition solos.Two years later, she joined the teaching staff. Recently, Brittney spent a summer training in multiple styles with The Joffrey Ballet School and was offered a position in the Joffrey Trainee Program, in New York.Brittney often trains under today's leading choreographers through conventions and master classes. She is currently a member of the Dancefx Concert Company.



Ashley Ware

Ashley Ware

Youth ballet, Elementary Combo B


Ashley has been dancing for 30+ years and is the former dance director of East Jackson High School's dance program and dance team. She trained in Chattanooga, TN at the Karen Horton School of Dance in ballet, tap, jazz, and pointe. She is an annual guest artist at the Georgia Jr. Thespian Conference, the Georgia Thespian Conference, and the International Thespian Conference and is a member of the Educational Theatre Association. She currently teaches middle school in Jefferson, GA.
